Is Masturbation a sin? NO It is clearly not a sin in the Bible!!Is Masturbation a sin? It is clearly NOT a sin in the Bible!! If you
are determine to call something a sin, then to you it is a sin. I hear this at a Men's Retreat tapes and thought it is a very good ideal for anyone who thinks masturbation is a sin.. http://inkaboutit.homestead.com/mastdeterminesin.html For all others, who are NOT
100% convinced, that masturbation is a sin, then read the following: Action of masturbation is clearly in the Bible and is
CLEARLY NOT a sin at all. This would also include sexual lust and sexual
fantasies that would naturally and normally go along with it. The word masturbation is not in the
Bible but the action clearly stated
in Lev 15:16-18 and CLEARLY NOT a sin. Also anyone who comes up with another Bible verse out of
context and they think it said
that masturbation was/is a sin is a major contradiction to Lev 15:16. If masturbation, wet dream, and sex with a
partner, which would also have included sexual lust and sexual fantasies, clearly are not a sin during the time period of the strict
demanding age of law, then it is clearly not a sin under the
age of grace, where we Christians are under grace and the law of love. Acts 10:13 Then a voice said to Peter, "Get up, Peter;
kill and eat." 14 But Peter said, "No, Lord! I have never eaten food
that is unholy or unclean." 15 But the voice said to him again, "God
has made these things clean so don't call them 'unholy'!" 16 This happened
three times (Note: this was not only about food, but almost everything.) Most all "unclean" issues were called clean in Act 10 and 11. Leviticus 15:16-18 reads: If any man has an emission of semen,
then he
shall wash all his body in water, and be unclean until evening. And any garment
and any leather on which there is semen, it shall be washed with water, and be
unclean until the evening. Also, when a woman lies with a man, and [there is] an emission of semen,
they
shall bathe in water, and be unclean until evening (NKJV). This would clearly include
masturbation, wet dreams, and sex with a partner. All three: masturbation, wet
dream, and sex with a partner would have also includes sexual lust and sexual
fantasies along with them. These also did not require any sin offering. This also clearly shows it is not a sin. There is no requirement of any sin offering of any kind. This unclean is more along the lines that you got yourselves
and clothes dirty and you had to go to the shower located out side of camp and
clean up both yourselves and wash your clothes and wait for them to dry and
return with every one else later in the early evening. Remember they had no
bathrooms, laundry room, dryers, nor many pair of clothes. This unclean is clearly not a sin. No sin offering of any
kind is needed. If anyone wants to say masturbation a sin, to be
consistent, they also will have to call wet dreams, sex with a spouse and a
women's period a sin also. A women on her period had
to give a sin offering, but not a emission of semen. But both were declared 100%
clean in Act 10. Today a women on
her period, masturbation, wet dreams, or sex with spouse does not have to ask
forgiveness and feel any shame or guilt of any kind. Also anyone who comes up with another Bible verse that they think it said that masturbation was a sin is a major contradiction to Lev 15:16. If masturbation, wet dream, and sex with a partner, which would also have included sexual lust and sexual fantasies, clearly are not a sin under the strict demanding age of law, then it is clearly not a sin under the age of grace, where we Christians are under the law of love. Acts 10:13 Then a voice said to Peter, "Get up, Peter;

has made these things clean so don't call them 'unholy'!" 16 This happened
three times (Note: this was not only about food, but almost everything.) Most all "unclean" issues were called clean in
Act 10 and 11. These rules in Lev. Were for a special time with a special purpose.
In Acts 10 God clearly calls these things all clean. Before Lev. they were
clean also. Only during this special time were they unclean. Also since, they have over 50 health benefits along with them, I go a step farther and call masturbation, wet dream, and sex with a partner a wonderful gift from God for us all to enjoy. Other Christians call sex with a spouse a gift from God and I just expand on that. I also say that every detail of sexuality was designed by God and God said it was very good. (Gen 1:31) Sexual lust and sexual fantasies are a very important
parts of God's sexual plan, with out them God's sexual plan would not even work
properly. If you removed sexual lust and sexual fantasies 100% then God's
sexual plan would not even work. They are very important parts of God's plan. Ge 1:31 - Then God saw
everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. Tit 1:15 Unto the pure
all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing
pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 1Co 10:23 – All things are lawful for me, but all things are not
expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. Ro 13:9 - For the commandments against adultery and murder and stealing and coveting – and any other commandment – are all summed up in this one commandment: "Love your neighbor as yourself." >>>>>>Sly

Give God the glory for the wonderful fun gift of lusty, sexy, sexuality that he gives all of us to enjoy. We need to apply the Law of Love to our sexual lust. am confused is masturbation good or bad? Will it send me to Hell? *******inkaboutit reply*****I have clearly shown the
masturbation is clearly talked about in the Bible in Lev 15:16-19 as “emission
of semen” and it clearly shows there is NO sin offering required. This means
under the very strict very demanding age of the Law that masturbation, wet
dreams, sex with a partner is not a sin. The Bible does not use the English word “masturbation”, but
it describes it with the action, “emission of semen” and it is clearly requires
no sin offering. Most of all the things that were unclean in Lev were declare
clean in Acts 10. So under the age of grace, masturbation, wet dreams, sex with
a partner is not a sin and it is not unclean either and there is no need to go
out side the camp and wash up. Under the age of grace we Christian are under
the law of love, not a long list of do’s and don’t. More similar to Adam and
Eve. Christians are new creation 100% pure in Christ alone, and are under the
law of love. Gen 1:31 Part of that is that God designed our human and
animal sexuality and said it was very good. We can clearly see the wet dreams,
masturbation and loving sex with your partner is all parts of God designed that
he said was very good. The confusion comes from the lies of the past. Past Medical
lies have all been exposed as lies. The misused Bible verses have been exposed
as taken out of context and are misleading. Today people are pasting on what
they were taught by people who were taught based on all these expose lies. But
people are shy and taught that they are sinning if they have sexual thoughts so
that in itself prevents a lot of sexual research so they can find the truth.
Lies will keep you in bondage, the truth will set you free to enjoy God
wonderful gifts, and one of the gift from God is loving sexual enjoyment both
for single and married. >>>>>>grumpkin said
>>>>>>that is absolutely disgusting! if that poor kid really
chopped off his hand just because he thought masturbation was evil then that
just goes to show the terrible consequences of taking the bible literally, ... *******inkaboutit reply******You miss the point. The Bible
says to rightly divide the word of God and it says to study it properly. We
need to study the Bible ourselves and know what it means and the holy spirit
will guide us. But we need an open mind and common sense and learn the context
of the Bible. We are lazy and want someone else to do all that and what ever
they tell us we will not question. The real problem was that Matt 5:28 – 30 was greatly taken
out of context of the situation, misunderstanding definition of lust and
adultery of the Bible days, and came up with the wrong conclusion. Common sense
would tell you that Christian don't avoid hell by cutting off body parts.
Common sense tells you that God does not want Christians walking around
handless, armless, eyeless, headless. Also common sense tells you that if God
designed human sexuality and said it was very good that if a man see a sexy
women and has a sexual thought or fantasy that he is not automatically an
adulterer. Common sense will tell you that there is something we are missing to
clearly understand these verses properly and in proper context. My web page
goes more into detail about this. >>>>>>grumpkin said
>>>>>> ...don't you see-this innocent kid was killed by a
ridiculous outdated early Christian belief, *******inkaboutit reply******Wrong conclusion. Ignorance of
context and common sense and misunderstanding of Matt 5:28-30 was the real
problem. Early Christian belief is not out dated or ridiculous, we just need to
understand the context properly and the why, who, where, what for, from who, to
who to understand the proper context. Sometimes in the Bible we are missing
some of those items and it is not 100% clear and we can come up with the wrong
conclusions because we don't have all the information needed to get the correct
conclusion. For example we only have the letters Paul wrote but we do not have
the letters that other wrote to him that he is replying to. Because of that we
may miss some of the needed context to come up with the correct conclusions.
Its like hearing one half of a phone conversation and not hearing the other
side. >>>>>>grumpkin said
>>>>>> if there is a God then I'm sure he didn't want this
person to die a cruel and pointless death! *******inkaboutit reply******Sometimes the death of people
seems to be pointless, but it does wake some other people up and get them to
think. Drunk drivers cause a lot of pointless deaths, so why do people continue
to drive drunk? God did not kill this person, but he killed himself by a
stupid action. Just like drunk drivers kill themselves and others by doing a
stupid things. God gives us free will and some times we do stupid things that
have deadly consequences to ourselves and others. Major research on masturbation, the Bible, Christianity,
sexuality, to clearly show that
masturbation is a wonderful gift from God for us to enjoy. God designed every
detail for us to enjoy. http://christianmasturbation.homestead.com/index.html

Major contradiction-- verse used by anti-nudist people. Matt.
5:28 is totally misunderstood and taken out of context. "look at a women
with lust...adultery" http://inkaboutit.homestead.com/Lustmt528.html
Masturbation positive talk: many Christian people,
Ministers, College Professors, Bible teachers, saying masturbation is not a sin and is very healthy for
you. http://inkaboutit.homestead.com/highlight2.html
From: http://www.dtl.org/ethics/e-mails/masterbation/follow-ups.htm > Masturbation is not mentioned by name (maybe they
didn't have a word for it), but I did find a part of the Mosaic Law that
applies to it. Bear with me for a few moments. Leviticus
15:16-18 reads: If any man has an emission of semen, then he shall wash all
his body in water, and be unclean until evening. And any garment and any
leather on which there is semen, it shall be washed with water, and be unclean
until the evening. Also, when a woman lies with a man, and [there is] an
emission of semen, they shall bathe in water, and be unclean until evening
(NKJV). This is normally explained as being a "nocturnal
emission" but if you look under the hood at the Hebrew, a different
picture evolves. The word "emission" is alah, which means (among
other things), "(cause to, make to) come (up)." The word translated
"semen" is a compound of shkabah ("a laying down for") and
zeroa ("something sown"..."seed"). So, this word choice
seems to indicate a deliberate action of producing the seed. I'm afraid the "passive" sound of the verses in
question is a result of religious sensibilities and not the most honest
possible translation of the underlying language. The woman's presence is
obviously optional (not present in verses 15 or 16) but present in 17. So I put it to you
that masturbation is definitely implied by the verses. Even sticking
with just the English translation, were it a nocturnal emission, would the
phrase "be unclean until evening" make a lot of sense? Let me take this just a touch farther. In chapter 15,
there are two situations that require sin offerings and one that doesn't. This
emission from semen is the one that does not require a sin offering. They do
become ceremonially unclean, and they do need to wash up afterwards, but that's
the beginning and ending of the requirement under the Law. If there is no sin
offering required, then no sin has been committed. Now, Gary, I don't really want to become known as the
world's leading authority on Biblical masturbation and certainly not its
proponent, but at the same time, I fear that one of the reasons some people can't clear this
"sin" out of their lives is that it isn't a sin at all. There just
isn't sufficient Biblical evidence to point to masturbation itself as being a
sin, and if you can't believe for a certainty something is a sin, I don't think
you can really get it out of your life. Major contradiction-- verse used by anti-nudist and anti-masturbation people. Matt. 5:28 is totally misunderstood and taken out of context. "look at a women with lust...adultery" http://inkaboutit.homestead.com/Lustmt528.html Adultery? What is adultery in the Bible and what is not adultery. You may be surprise. Men in the Bible had a lot of sex with many women in the Bible. Is adultery about sex or is it less about sex and more about betrayal. What are the different Bible definitions? http://inkaboutit.homestead.com/adultdefine.html Part of: http://inkaboutit.homestead.com/ProMinister.html
Instead of trying to stop people from mastur-bating, the church
should be encouraging them to do so. Christian minister David McKay* Masturbation is the safety valve on the sexual pressure cooker, that
stops us from exploding in unacceptable or inappropriate ways. Masturbation is
the universally legitimate way to satisfy your sexual appetite without
indulging in something else, which may not be as legitimate. If there was more
Masturbation, there would be a lot less incest, fewer rapes, less infidelity in
marriage, etc. . A lot more than adultery occurs when people refuse to
Masturbation. Pedophilia, incest, rape, homosexuality, bestiality, all of these
practices seem to be tolerated more by a church which refuses to speak the
liberating truth about masturbation. (Matt. 5:28) The mistake is that people have confused " thinking about sex" with "lust". Lust is actually wanting to do something that you know is wrong. But the sin is not in desiring sex (since that is as universal a desire as the desire for food), nor is it in fantasizing about sex. The sin is in wanting to actually perform an act to satisfy your sexual appetite that you believe is wrong, and then refraining from doing it only out of fear about what people would think or do if they found out. From: http://www.theology.edu/faq08.htm 8. Is Masturbation a Sin? The only mention of masturbation in the Bible would
possibly be Lev. 15:16-18, 32-33; 22:4 and Deut. 23:10-11. It is interesting to notice that none of these passages refer
to the emission of semen as a sin. In fact, such an emission has fewer
consequences than a woman's menstruation. I would conclude, therefore, that
masturbation is not a sin and is no more regulated in the Bible than relieving
oneself or menstruating. This is unsurprising, since the overwhelming
majority of human beings do masturbate at some point in their lives (and the
rest, someone once said, are lying); if it was a sin, then, it seems to me, it
would have been mentioned. Thus, I tell people if they don't feel guilty about doing it, then it is not a problem. On the other hand, if they do feel guilty, then perhaps they shouldn't. The principles of Romans 14 come into play: on matters of individual conscience, if the conscience is not clear, then for that individual it is a sin. Roman 14:14 I know and am convinced by the Lord Jesus
that there is nothing unclean of itself; but to
him who considers anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. …16 Therefore do not let your good be spoken of as evil Ge 1:31 - Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it
was very good. Tit 1:15 Unto the pure
all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing
pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 1Co 10:23 – All things
are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for
me, but all things edify not. Another on similar to the above would be: Is Masturbation a Sin? NOT, it is not sin.
