Always keep what Jesus says,   in proper context. Enemies vs. Friends, Law vs. Grace. Always need to know who and what Jesus is talking about,  to keep it in context.

Mr 4:10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11 And he said unto them, Unto you ( friends, believers) it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God:

Divorce, remarriage,  is not Adultery

but unto them that are without, (enemies of Jesus) all these things are done in parables: 12 That

seeing they may see, and not perceive; and

hearing they may hear, and not understand;

lest at any time they (enemies of Jesus)  should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

Lu 8:9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God:

but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

About Jesus enemies are like dogs, swine

Mt 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Jesus enemy ask his reply on Divorce for “any reason”. For any, very minor, reason, like a women who burnt the toast. This is what Jesus  responded to. The answer is no. Meaning it is not a valid divorce when it is for a super minor reason and not equal to Moses major problem divorces.

If you divorce for just any super minor reason, then it is an invalid divorce, and will be treated like just a separation and not a real divorce as Moses was talking about of a major hardening of your heart type of Divorce. Similar to when Abraham kicked Hagar out when Sarah and her could not live together in peace. Gen 21

There is a major different between them. In that day if a women burnt the toast the man would get angry and tell her to get out of the house type of “Divorce”. Compare this the major ongoing problem that you have tried everything to get resolved and nothing is working for you. This causes a major hardening of the heart like major conflict, major problem that had major counseling to try to resolve the problem with no solution, no peace.

Then major hardening of heart has a legitimate divorce. For any minor reason like burning the toast and you get angry and kick her out for that,   shame on you,  and that is no valid divorce at all. Will be treated like an unjust separation only,  and the man is punched also.

Also remember in the Bible day,  polygamy and prostitution  was legal. If a women was not meeting your needs,  the man could buy or rent  another women to meet his needs. Today, in God eyes, polygamy and prostitution, is still valid, but to  the gov’t and Church it is illegal. Which forces men to divorce there wife,  to get a second wife,  to meet there needs. In the Bible days the women who wanted a divorce had to pay the money trhe man paid for her and she was free of him only after a writing of Divorce paper and the man did not have to pay her money to live by. The man could buy many wives and concubines and rent prostitutes.

Today it is the opposite. Men get no money from the women, but pays the womrn a lot of money,  and have to pay the women month, and polygamy and prostitution is illegal.

Also remember Jesus is not talking to his loving followers believers, but by his enemy who are trying to kill him and tried to trap him. Don’t treat what he says to his enemy ask a saying to believers. It would be taking it out of context and misunderstanding it.

When Jesus talked to his enemy it was to confuse them and confound them so they walked away scratching their heads wondering what he said. Jesus intentionally tries to confuse the enemy so they would not come to the truth. Mk 4:12  It is very important  to know who Jesus is talking to and about the Law or grace, to enemies or to followers,  to put it correct context.

Jesus spoke opposite to believers, he wants them to come to the truth and not be confused of what he was saying to them.  To Believers he try to be clear and wanted them to clearly understand everything, even then,  they still misunderstand. So it is very important to understand whom Jesus is talking to,   so you don’t misunderstand and take it out of context. Mk 4:11

Also remember Jesus lived under the age of Law,   and did not live under the Age of Grace. But he talked about both to his followers. But always to his enemy,  it was about the Age of Law and not Age of Grace. We are not under Age of the Law, but we are under the Age of Grace. Heb 9:16-17

(Keep in proper context: from the enemy of God and about divorce for any minor reason at all,  like burning the toast)

Matt 19:3 Some Pharisees came and tried to trap him with this question: "Should a man be allowed to divorce his wife for any (super minor) reason?(like if she burnt the toast and in angry,  you kick her out of the house)" 4 "Haven't you read the Scriptures?" Jesus replied. "They record that from the beginning 'God made them male and female.' 5 And he said, 'This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.' 6 Since they are no longer two but one, let no one separate them, for God has joined them together."

7 "Then why did Moses say a man could merely write an official letter of divorce and send her away?" they asked.

8 Jesus replied, "Moses permitted divorce as a concession to your (major major problem)  hard-hearted wickedness, but it was not what God had originally intended. ( extra note: in a sinless world)

9 And I tell you this, a man who divorces his wife ( extra note context: “any reason” any minor reason like burning the toast) and marries another commits adultery – unless his wife has been unfaithful.  "

Divorce based on a super minor reason is not a valid divorce in Jesus eyes,  so Jesus treats it like a non-divorce with extra punishment for the man who is doing a Divorce for a stupid very minor reason,  no wheres near the reason Moses wrote a divorce over a very major problem.

Heb 9:16 - For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. (Jesus)

Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth

Mt 7:6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Mr 4:12  That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

Mr 4:10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. 11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: 12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

Mark 4

4:10

Later, when Jesus was alone with the twelve disciples and with the others who were gathered around, they asked him, "What do your stories mean?"

4:11

He replied, "You are permitted to understand the secret about the Kingdom of God. But I am using these stories to conceal everything about it from outsiders,

4:12

so that the Scriptures might be fulfilled: 'They see what I do, but they don't perceive its meaning. They hear my words, but they don't understand. So they will not turn from their sins and be forgiven.'

Joh 12:42

Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

Isa 6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand  not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not. 10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed. 11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate, 12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.

Lu 8:9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be? 10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Matt 13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? 11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. 17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

John 12:37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: 38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? 39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, 40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. 41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue: 43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

44 Jesus cried and said, He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. 45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. 46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Titus 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
